The Port of Koper officially handled its 600,000th vehicle for the year 2015 this past weekend, which is the absolute year record in the history of the car terminal. The previous record from 2008 amounted to just under 570,000 cars. Congratulations also from our side!

At the first Arab Future City Summit Mr. Devid Palcic, CEO of partner SME company Robotina described future needs that could be supported by Smart Information Platform (SMIP).

From 4th to 6th June 2014 at the Intersolar fair in Munich the company Robotina presented their solutions and software support, based on our information platform SMIP – Smart Information Platform.

Digital ecosystems, Internet of Things, Wireless Sensor Networks – all of this is the future of Internet in which we focus in our company. Nova Gorica on 25th of November 2013 hosted the conference “Digital Business Ecosystems”.

The conference was organized by Informest and RDA Northern Primorska Ltd within the project iCon. This is a joint-venture Slovenian – Italian project, which is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the Slovenian and Italian companies through networking and building platforms (including digital) , which will strengthen the cooperation between enterprises and encourage innovation.

Speeches were about the near future in which objects are connected to each other, can identify each other and exchange information about themselves and become smart because they can communicate with each other. It is a network – based autonomous electronic devices that can acquire data from the environment that surrounds them, this data can be processed and passed on. The project iCon establishes a network / cluster for IoT (“Internet of Things”). It is the environment in which we are entering with the project SMIP – Smart Internet Platform for the development and implementation of e-services of the Internet of Everything, especially in services for the smart home, energy management, all in the direction of convergence paradigm “smart city” to the end user.

The aim of the conference was the connect companies that are already active in this field, exchange of information on achievements and projects and establishment of dynamic collaborative networks in the direction of identifying new business opportunities and development of new business models.
