Port of Koper handled its 600,000th vehicle in the year 2015
Objavljeno : 29 December, 2015The Port of Koper officially handled its 600,000th vehicle for the year 2015 this past weekend, which is the absolute year record in the history of the car terminal. The previous record from 2008 amounted to just under 570,000 cars. Congratulations also from our side!
Part of the credits for this success falls on the information system AVTI (“Cars”) – computer supported management of yard operations at the Car terminal with electronic data exchange of arrivals and dispatches of vehicles, developed by our company.
Information system was established already in 1997, since then was constantly improved towards the widest possible adaptability to the specific requirements of individual car manufacturers and Car terminal needs.
In 2011 we introduced also a group of applications “ASK” to support the daily processes of ordering and services planning for the Pre Delivery Inspection and Pre Delivery Services (PDI & PDS) at Car terminal.
